Notre-Dame Cathedral has been at the epicentre of the city of Paris for over 850 years.
A historical landmark, a pillar of the Arts and a centre for spirituality, it is a must-see location for any trip to Paris.
It is the most famous of the Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages.
The cathedral was begun in 1160 and largely completed by 1260, though it was modified frequently in the following centuries.
On 15 April 2019, the Cathedral caught fire, causing significant damage, including the collapse of the main spire and the entire roof.
